Project Heat A Success

ProjectHeatDuring the coldest nights of the Bakken winter, the collaborative efforts of area churches and community groups successfully aided in keeping homeless men in Williston safe and warm.  New Hope-ers played a huge part in this effort – and we wanted to take a moment to say “thank you” to each person who took time to pray for “Project Heat”, drive a van, volunteer at the housing, or play any other vital role in the project.

The endeavor reached national attention, gaining mentions in the Washington Times, ABC World Now, and other national news outlets.  While the idea was never to reach national publicity, those involved with the project hope that it could inspire other communities to take up similar causes.
