“But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.”

Joshua 24:15

Our vision is to see families thriving in faith and unity in every stage of
life—children, students, and marriages—growing closer to God and to one
another. At New Hope, we help families know Jesus, grow together, and build homes centered on His love.

Married People.

Marriage is meant to be fun, but let’s be honest—it’s easy to get caught up
in the chaos of everyday life and forget to actually enjoy it. That’s where Married People Events come in.

A few times a year, we host nights designed just for couples—whether
you’ve been married for six months or sixty years. These events are filled
with laughter, connection, and practical encouragement to help you grow
closer to your spouse and to God. Think of it as a date night with a
purpose. You’ll laugh, learn, and leave feeling reconnected.
We believe strong marriages build strong families, and strong families
build strong communities. That’s why we make these events a priority—to help couples thrive, not just survive.

After each Married People Event, we offer the chance to join a Married
People Small Group—a relaxed, short-term group experience where
couples can continue the conversation, connect with others, and put what they’ve learned into practice in real life.

Whether you’re looking for a fresh spark or just a good reason to get out of
the house, you don’t want to miss the next Married People Event.

Child Dedication.

What is Child Dedication?
This special service permits parents to publicly present their children to
God and to make a commitment to bring their children up in a Christ-
centered home. At New Hope Church Child Dedication services are held typically two times a year.

What does it signify?
It is a parent’s act of dedication, making a spiritual commitment to God
concerning the upbringing of their child. This commitment involves a
lifestyle of praying for the child, teaching from God’s Word and setting a Christ-like example for the child.

Where in Scripture is there a precedent for dedication of a child?

Hannah presented her son, Samuel, to the Lord in Shiloh (1 Sam. 1:11).
Jesus was also dedicated to God (Luke 2:22) and He allowed little children to come to Him for His blessing (Matt. 19:13-15).

If your heart is in agreement with the purpose and the motive of the Child
Dedication, then we invite you to participate. We consider this a sincere
promise to God that flows out of your commitment to Jesus Christ.

If you want to be added to our child dedication notification list, text
“dedicate” to 701-353-2112. Otherwise, click the “contact us” and check “child dedication” for more information.

Child Baptism.

At New Hope, we believe in BELIEVERS BAPTISM. This means that
baptism is appropriate for those old enough to make a decision to believe in Christ and live for Him. Baptism Bash! is our way to teach kids what baptism is, what it means, and why we do it. Because of this,

Baptism Bash! is a required prerequisite for baptism at New Hope for kids 5th grade and younger. We encourage kids 2nd-5th grade to take our baptism class if they have received Christ into their lives.

In the end, the parents/guardians are responsible to decide whether their child is ready for baptism. Baptism is a public declaration of a personal decision to follow Christ. If you think your child is ready for baptism, come to our Baptism Bash class. It is the perfect place to get your questions answered. Head to newhopehere.com/events for the next Baptism Bash date.

Weddings.

Having a wedding can be one of the most wonderful, yet stressful,
occasions in your life.  We here at New Hope would like to assist you in
making this day a memorable and joyful occasion.  Because you are not only preparing for your wedding, but also preparing for your life together, premarital counseling is required. Click the button below for more info.
